Sydney has been dedicated to veterinary medicine for over ten years, with a passion for animal care that continues to grow. She holds a degree in psychology from California State University Monterey Bay and joined the Ingleside Animal Hospital team in 2023. Sydney's career in the veterinary field began in 2014 as a groomer, and she later transitioned into a clinical setting, where she has continued to thrive. Her primary motivation is to be a voice and advocate for animals, ensuring they receive the care and attention they deserve.
Originally from Ames, Iowa, Sydney grew up with a strong understanding of large animal care, influenced by her mother’s work at the Iowa State University Veterinary Clinic. This early exposure to animal care sparked her enduring passion for the field.
At home, Sydney shares her life with two beloved cats: Schrodinger Maleficent, an 11-year-old firecracker, and Nips (also known as Taco), an 8-year-old cat whom she describes as "the best cat to ever walk the earth."
Sydney's commitment to animal advocacy and her wealth of experience makes her a valuable member of the Ingleside Animal Hospital team.
