We're excited to announce a full-time Veterinary Technician position available at our state-of-the-art animal hospital spanning 11,000 square feet. Situated in the vibrant Arcadia East Area of Phoenix, we're a forward-thinking AAHA certified facility dedicated to delivering top-tier patient care and personalized service.
As a non-corporate establishment adhering to Fear Free and Cat Friendly principles, our team prioritizes the well-being and comfort of our furry patients.
While certification is desirable, it's not mandatory. We welcome applicants with varying levels of experience, as we're committed to providing comprehensive training to the right candidate.
Our Veterinary Technicians and Veterinary Assistants play a pivotal role in our practice, performing a wide range of duties including:
- Conducting thorough physical examinations (TPRs)
- Collecting blood and urine samples
- Placing catheters
- Administering medications orally and via injection
- Providing attentive care to hospital and kennel patients
- Assisting in surgical procedures and monitoring anesthesia
- Performing dental prophylaxis
- Capturing traditional and dental radiographs
- Conducting in-house laboratory tests
- Filling prescriptions
- Ensuring exceptional customer communication and more!

Requirements:
- At least 1-2 years of experience caring for animals in a veterinary/animal hospital setting requested.
