Position Responsibilities
As a Client Service Representative at our hospital, we expect you to provide the highest quality of client quality care as well as compassion for our patients.
- Welcome clients and their pets by name upon arrival
- Assist clients with check-in processes and update contact information
- Organize patient records, consent forms, and other documents for the following day
- Handle incoming telephone calls and schedule appointments
- Alert doctors and technicians of patient arrivals
- Maintain and update client and patient databases
- Check-out clients at the end of their visits, explain invoices and treatment plans
- Handle mailing tasks including certificates, invoices, reminders, thank you cards, and sympathy cards
- Coordinate pet boarding schedules
- Perform computer data entry including service records and updating vaccination and client/patient information
- Complete end-of-day computer tasks, prepare deposits, and record transactions
- Track no-shows, cancellations, and rescheduled appointments
- Perform daily light cleaning of the waiting area, office, public restrooms, and exam rooms
- Attend continuing education seminars as directed by the hospital administrator
